Can live with other dogs?  If rehomed together, they should be the only dogs in the home.

If rehomed separately, they could potentially live with a calm, well-matched male dog.

Can live with cats?  No - not tested

Can live with children? Older teenagers (15+) only - they haven’t lived with children before and would prefer a calm, adult-style home

Any additional training needs? 

These girls are generally very well-mannered in the home but can be worried by other dogs when out and about, so will need ongoing support to help them feel safe on walks. They love human company and affection, but can get a little jealous, so will need some gentle management around food and cuddles, as they both love being the centre of attention – think siblings competing for your lap! They’re doing really well in foster and are already much more settled but will benefit from continued gentle boundaries and reassurance. Secure doors and gardens are essential, as these two are known to seize the moment and try to head off on adventures if given the chance!

Type of home needed: 

A calm, loving home where these two sweethearts can enjoy the good life together. They adore attention, love lounging in the sunshine and want nothing more than to be close to their people - so someone around most of the time would be ideal. They are low-energy and happy with gentle ambles rather than long walks. While they’re very bonded, they are easy to manage day to day - just a pair of gentle souls who’ve had a rough few months and now deserve comfort, care, and consistency. 

The dogs are currently in the North East.  Preference will be given to applicants nearest to that area or those willing to travel to collect.  

If the foster carer decides to adopt this dog at the end of the foster period, the fee will be £TBC.
